Gading (Malay for “ivory”), is a contemporary dance work with roots in Malay culture and traditional dance movements, drawing inspiration from the exquisite traits of ivory.

In celebration of Sriwana’s 65th anniversary, Aidli Mosbit, who last presented the sold-out Alkesah at Pesta Raya 2018, comes onboard as dramaturg. Gading also features Sriwana’s very own resident choreographers Zannury Zakarea, Aziela Abdul Rahim and Juhari Zaid along with dancers from the company.

Make sure you don’t miss this performance! Gading will be staged at the Esplanade Theatre Studio on 6th March 2020 and 7th March 2020  at 8pm. Admission for ages 6 and above.
